odern learners are complicated; they
can be anywhere from 18 to 40 years
old (sometimes even older). Each student
learns in his or her own way. However,
most modern learners interact with the
course content. Generation Z, or the
iGeneration (iGens), has been surrounded
by technology since birth, and they expect
the same technology to be available for
them at school. Older millennials grew up
as technology updated alongside them.
Generation X watched technology transform
their already adult lives and learned that it
was here to stay.
